I didn't want you to think I unfriended you.

Love,
JanieJanie Junebughttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10573607241326291404noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6668006921932597897.post-55738432396527074952021-05-18T00:47:58.417-04:002021-05-18T00:47:58.417-04:00I think you are wise to distance yourself from you...I think you are wise to distance yourself from your friend. Seems like she is doing a lot of taking in your friendship and that can be draining on the one giving. You got too much on your plate to try to help someone who is not ready to be helped, especially if you aren't related to them.

Youngest keeps taking those little baby steps. I think its a great system with who pays for the courses based on the grades he gets. If he wants to keep more of his own money, he should be motivated to work for those A's and B's.

Will your new potential route be easier for you? Or more places to deliver, thus the more money?

bettybettyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06323135450742337670noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6668006921932597897.post-13247601726880149782021-05-17T19:33:20.999-04:002021-05-17T19:33:20.999-04:00Friends come and go sometimes it is hard but somet...Friends come and go sometimes it is hard but sometimes it's what needs to happenJo-Anne's Ramblingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11418152399382818709noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6668006921932597897.post-3423934637316191312021-05-17T18:06:40.431-04:002021-05-17T18:06:40.431-04:00God has a way of removing those people you don'...God has a way of removing those people you don't want to label, "toxic" out of your life. I'm guessing that this person found you were a good listener, and advice went through one and out the other, because they were looking for "one way interaction". I think a day will come when a LOT of people finally understand how valuable your nurturing nature is. And I pray it's when all involved are still around to respond to it.

(And for a change, thank God for spell check. That was entirely too heartfelt to stick a word like "nutturing" in!)CWMartinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06798867734074134647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6668006921932597897.post-45491885624548396262021-05-17T17:21:27.059-04:002021-05-17T17:21:27.059-04:00I wonder, would he be open to trying a different t...I wonder, would he be open to trying a different therapist? I also think that once he is going to college and making new friends - hopefully, good ones - it might make him look at things a bit differently.

I am sorry about your friend and I truly pray that she figures it out. That is a tough one.

Juli, you and your husband are shining examples for your kids. It may not seem like it but they ARE watching and taking notes.Gigihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05467164195744234746noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6668006921932597897.post-87490276474504824232021-05-17T02:51:31.675-04:002021-05-17T02:51:31.675-04:00Stepping away from friends is always hard, but som...Stepping away from friends is always hard, but sometimes essential for them and for you. Well done.
And well done on the work you are doing with your boy too. You are certainly prepared to do the work - which sets an excellent example.Elephant's Childhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06650565833097914052noreply@blogger.com
